The Minneapolis Women's Rotary
"Service, Not Self"
The Minneapolis Women's Rotary was established in 1911 and is the only all-female rotary in the United States.
Our membership is comprised of philanthropic professional women in the Twin Cities. Our members have been coming together for over 100 years for networking, friendship and to raise money for charities who benefit women and children in Minnesota.
Over a Century of Service, Networking, Friendships and Fun!
Who We Serve
Members vote every two years on the charity or charities that we support. In addition, we currently support an ongoing memorial education fund and endowment fund, focused on scholarships for non-traditional female students with the intent to help women continue their undergraduate educations.
The Minneapolis Women's Rotary Memorial Education Fund
Established in 2001 to assist women with financial need who are in the process of completing a college degree, our scholarship focuses on “women interrupted,” non-traditional female students who will use the college degree as a means to change or improve their lives.
Women who are awarded the Minneapolis Women's Rotary Memorial Education Fund scholarship will also receive:
Emotional support and encouragement from the Women's Rotary members
Guest membership during the period of their scholarship, providing connections and networking opportunities within a group of professional women
